Jesters vs. RAC – Squash Match – Friday 5th January, 2024 @ 7pm. Courts 1 & 2 at RAC Pall Mall
With only a three string match lined up on Thursday 4th January, match manager Richard Winter was scrambling to fill the empty slots but a few last minute arm-twists and he was there!
Good news was we were all treated to some spectacular squash and all the matches seemed to be very close. Steve and Tim showed us that we all have room for improvement in our game this year.
A very Jesterly match ended with a draw at 3 matches each, although on the count-back it would appear that Chris Dennis saved the day for the RAC by stealing a game from Mariano.
The evening was rounded off with a delicious dinner courtesy of the RAC. We were all thrilled that Tim had to go back to the office after his match, so we could all share puddings and stay within the budget!
Well played to the Jesters candidates. Chris Morrell will be fondly remembered for sporting an outfit from the front desk, as he forgot to bring a change of clothes!
